There is a place on M-97 (Grosbeck) just south of I-696 that does it, I will get you the address on my way home this evening. There is also a boat sitting at the south west corner of Metro Parkway and Jefferson with a phone number on it for shrink wrapping.

Well if anyone shrink wrapped themselves...I think they would not still be around to tell about it...:D

Sorry couldn't resist! I don't know of anywhere you can get the stuff to do it yourself, but I will keep a look out!

I have heard that wrapping yourself is a real pain.

I have heard of people doing it themselves though, just don't know where they got the supplies.

It is my understanding that haveing it done is relatively inexpensive, a obviously much less hassle.

1fife,
I found this site on the web. They sell the kits and supplies for "do-it-yourself" shrinkwrapper. Doesn't look too cost effective though. The supplies do do it aren't too bad. But the initial investment in equipment and hardware is pretty cost prohibitive.
Check it out.

If you are interested in doing the job yourself here is the site to go to. http://www.dr-shrink.com/

I used to work for the Dr. He is a beer drinking fool that has a lot of fun while working! how many bosses can you say that about? He is a great guy and I would highly recommend him for your shrink wrap supplies. Shrink wrapping a boat is very easy to do. after doing it once you will wonder why you wanted to pay someone to do it for you.
