[Get_Outside]

Went out whipping last night again on the SCR. Launched out of Marine City at around 7:30pm. Had lines in the water just north of the power plant (american side) and by 11:30 we had 9 keepers in the box. Most fish were in the 15 to 16 inch class. Popular bait was again a wonderbread pattern on an old wooden pencil plug. I did talk to a guy at the launch who had been out vertical jigging and he had a limit of nice size (2 to 3 lb) fish. Nice evening out on the water although it did make that 5:30am alarm clock seem awfully early.

O-man 0530 alarm and a night fish. that is like putting beer in your luck-charms :eek: It did make it a little nicer that you nailed some eaters. Great job.

Nice job on the :fish: .......... G-O The smell of lilacs in the air. Red head wonder bread has been working good up river also.

Thanks. Was tempted to go again last night but decided (wisely I think) to get some sleep instead. Got the boat ready for the weekend up in Tawas. Hopefully try for some eyes on the big lake in Augres.

Ed one of these nights we will have to try to hook up out there for a barley pop.
