Sorry guys have not posted anything in a while, I have had a few PM's asking how the action was down my way. Got a $500,000 construction project going at work and have not had too much time to get out. I have been out but had not had much to show for it. Sunday changed pace finally when I actually caught a keeper. A wave of undersized walleye have moved in and are wild little buggers, alot of people have chosen not to fish due to this and the silvers being hot and heavy at trenton. Besides silver bass I have not caught much in the past couple weeks. Got 1 keeper yesterday morning and 1 last night. Not bad still a bag worth in the freezer. I have moved my boat and is now on the trailer and am gonna fish this week up river for a while . I caught countless walleyes in the 10 inch range this weekend, even saw a bozo who was truing to keep one. " Man I hate to throw it back" Were his words. Whos knows how many others the mullets had. Anyway My fish were caught at mc clouth steel plant.

I was out by Fighting Island yesterday and I saw many boats, including some handliners keeping those 12 inch walleyes. One moron set-up about 15 feet from us, caught a walleye that could not have been more than 12", then had his son take a picture of him holding it before he put it in the cooler. I was stunned. If you want to keep 12" fish, go perch fishing! I know there is no length limit in Canada, however, that does not give you the license to be an idiot.

LET THEM GROW!!
