I'm looking to find some productive lake to fish for blue gill with my fly rod. Any suggestions for the S.E. Mich. area?
Thanks in advace for your replies.

Try the lakes in the Waterloo and Pinckney Recreation Areas. I've done well in many of them. The area is pretty as well.
Devil's Lake in Lenawee County is supposed to be good but I haven't fished it enough to know from experience.
Big Portage Lake offers a healthy panfish population (including some big rock bass). The launch is on a short channel that connects you to the Huron River. You can enter Big Portage or go up the Huron a short distance to Baseline Lake (NOTE: There is another "Big Portage Lake" nearby in the Waterloo Rec. Area).
Ten years ago, I used to do well on gills and crappie in Four Mile Lake in the Chelsea State Game Area but lately it seems to be getting filled with stunted fish. Again, I haven't fished it often enough in the recent past to form a solid conclusion.
Tom Huggler's lake map books may help you out further in selecting a lake ("100 Southern Michigan Lakes").
Good luck!
