Had one of these at my feeder today. couldn't find it in my bird book.

thanks! I originally thought it might be a grosbeak, but I guess I missed that page in my book. I just found it.

A cool looking bird especially in flight. The female looks kinda like a large sparrow with two white stripes on the head,sorry not smart enough to get pics on the computer. Nice looking back yard,any morels out there.....:)

They sing a wonderful melody of sorts.

Sometimes you can walk up really close to them too!
