Fremont Lake

Anyone been catching any eyes on Fremont Lake this new season? I haven't been out there yet this year, been busy on Muskegon lake but am planning on hitting Fremont this afternoon and fish till I get cold or tired.

Sounds like a good day/afternoon to drift around drowning a few crawlers. Supposed to be around the low 60s with light wind so should be a nice afternoon.

Anyone have anything worthwhile to say about Fremont this season?

I have not heard of any reports. Drove by both launches on Sundy, but 0 boats out ... course the weather was a bit cruddy.

If you need/want someone to ride along shoot me a pm back. I have not been to bed yet (work thirds) so today might be iffy. But I am off work tonight and Thurs.

Missed ya, turned the computer off right after I posted. Oh well, you didn't miss much. I got there at 1130 and stayed till 6:45pm. I only had one hit, an 18 inch eye. Nothing else. No bass, nasty pike nor perch. Dragging crawlers all day. Pretty windy until I was leaving. Should have stayed longer but got bored and tired of not catching.

Thinking about Friday morning, either Muskegon lake or Hardy........

Swung by for a look see after I stopped into town. Must have been your grey/silver truck parked on the north end?? I think I just missed you at the launch when I parked ... there was still a water trail from the ramp to the trailer.

Only 1 'eye?? You must not have had your new Vex in the boat. :lol:

Ya that was my silver Dakota Quad Cab 4X4 at the launch. Have 2 graphs already, dash and up front. Been thinking about putting the FL18 in front in place of the Lowrance but just haven't gotten around to it yet. Had the lake to myself for most of the day. Water still real cold, warmest I found was 49.6 and most ran about 48.6. Marked fish in the middle tight to the bottom in 32 fow but couldn't dredge one up.

We'll give it a shot another day........
