Gone Fishing

Fished Friday with a couple of buddies from work. Fishing was excellent as we had our 150 fish limit in 4 hours. Used perch rigs with emerald shiners and fished approx. 4 mi. SSE of Huron Point in 15.5 fow and also by the B marker in Anchor Bay. 9.5 feet of stained water, 15 - 20 mph winds out of the North and overcast. Perfect conditions! Took my wife and 7 yr. old son on Sunday and fished the same areas. We did manage a limit but it took us most of the day and the fish were running a little smaller. Sky was clear and the winds were pretty calm but the fish still cooperated. I usually fish the Canadian side but this is the best Perch fishing on the American side that I have seen in years! Now is the time, go get em!
