I am thinking about trying Belleville Lake for Walleyes later this week. If anyone has had any success recently or in the past, please let me know. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Suggestions for walleyes in other area lakes (Washtenaw or Livingston Counties) would also be appreciated.

Where the Huron dumps into the lake is a good feeding ground for post-spawn feeders at night. The late spring should produce some 'eyes at the Ford Lk. dam...Not to mention the silver bass beginning their spawn...I would target the walleyes at night to avoid the crowds and try during the week... ;)

Drove past the Ford Lake Dam on Bridge road on Sunday afternoon, and there were people almost shoulder to shoulder in the river. If you can go during the week it will be less crowded. I'm going to go there Friday after work and see what the crowd is like. If it's too bad, then it's gill fishing on belleville lake.

Are people catching Walleyes or White Bass along the banks of the river? If anyone has been, are there any walleyes?
