Just a heads up. Along with Our high gas prices, Genesee County Parks & Recreation has hiked the launch fees also. $10.00 to launch or $34.00 for the season pass :yikes: ! I believe I'll be avoiding most of My local Lakes this season :mad: ! Bob.

I'm sure it has a lot do with the milliage that got defeated last year for Parks and Rec. I knew I should have got on the Parks and Rec board when I had the chance.... I'm sure someone reasoned that this will help supplement the budget. But it will probably even out because less people will now use the launches. Its a darn shame.

If you watch the Flint city council meetings on public access for about 10 minutes you'll realize the people running this show are, well, they're idiots actually.....

They better not charge at holloway until there is actually some water under the docks...that's what really burns me.

Well that kinda sucks, lucky for me, i just strap my 10'er to a wagon and pull it down to the beach (private: personal launch :D )... Well if any one want to know prices for Lake Fenton's launch (or if the guy's there) give me a PM i'm a bike ride away.....
