Met up with Scooty Hoover to try our luck on the mighty Saginaw. Had a nice day/nite on the water, but no 'Eyes. I retained My title of "King" of the Sheepies straining the water so Scott could get to the 'Eyes  . Scotty brought His Holoway Catfish expertice and landed a couple, plus a nice chunky 17 3/4 " Smallmouth. Fished from Ojibway to "Hawg Alley", marked very few fish/baitfish anywhere. Water clarity was tolerable with 49/50 deg. temps. I agree with Capt. Dan in the other post, that weather forecasters should be shot with a ball of thier own feces :bash: ! Bob.

King of the Sheeps!!
Only reason I didn't hook any farm animals is because I was slow on the hookset! See those Cats give you that extra second to sting 'em.
Had a great time, was nice to finally meet and wet a line with the legendary Chamook.
Did you guys do anything in that afternoon rain today? Don't be afraid to call me up and say 'lets go'.

BayDog & I Fished a body of water VERY close to Your house :p ! Endured gale force winds/rain/sleet/snow + a $10.00 launch fee :yikes: . Pulled cranks & harnesses - ZIP. Jigged a spot where the Pigeons drive You nuts and managed 8 Walleyes - 1 Pike - 4 Crappy. Only one of the 'Eyes was a keep - 15 1/64" - Pike 25" - Crappies 8"-9" :fish: . Did You manage any fish on Your "controled drift". During the Gale Force winds, it REALLY kicked up and We headed back to the launch in White caps with foam blowing off the tops  ! Think I'm going to sleep My day-off away, weather looks like more of the same for today :gaga: . Bob.

Heck no, I stayed home once I saw storms start moving in. Well at least you had something going on out there. The launch fee's are crazy....half the people in Flint can't afford that. I'll be out somewhere this week once the weather settles down.

Scotty, "Legendary Chamook"! GEEZ, don't inflate his ego anymore than it is! It's hard enough to keep him in the boat already!!!
