Well this time of year I start getting calls for some eradication of problem coyotes but this is the first time that I got called because some Lllamas were under siege. These folks have pretty much lost all their cats and dogs and now they have started to hone in on their very expensive Llamas. Went and did a little scouting and took a closer look at these beasts that are being harrassed. No doubt the coyote have sign all around the fence and even done a little digging. Bold sonofaguns! They told me if I took some out that they have about 300 acres 30 miles north to go work on too. Was wondering how many of you fellow coyote hunters go about taking care of problem coyote? I've found it a great way to find more places to hunt. Been away from it for awhile, just started back last year after being away from it for 20 years. Seems like it's much easier with their population having exploded. Especially here in Central IL. Thinking of going to have some cards made up too.

I don't know about Mules there trout. I know they use Liiamas to gaurd sheep and other livestock hmmmm. Guess the only way to control coyote is to trap or shoot em. Wilerkiller

We were having a problem with dogs and yotes after our llamas also........one solution....we ran a hot wire about 6" above ground around the outside of the llama pasture. One good jolt from the hot wire makes them reconsider.
havent had a problem since.

Never even thought of that but, will sure pass it on to them. They have just gotten the last of their beens out last week and waiting till a little more foilage falls off and it will be time to put the cross hairs on a few of those coyotes.
