Cold and brutal East wind, but friend & myself managed 6 nice 16" to 18" fish in 3 hours. Threw back 4 little ones & 3 bass. Not many fish caught by the few other boats that were out. All caught on spoons. Canadian side very dirty. Probably won't. be fishing next 2 or 3 days if weather man is right. Tough typing when fingers won't. warm up.

Talkin about Gar Wood ? Remember the old 8 can ? (bouy) Used to get them pretty heavy in front of the hospital.

I assume he is referring to this spot. The old Gar Wood mansion used to be on the "Island" at the top center that is formed by the canals. New housing development there now.

almost forgot about the holiday in. Lots of nice rocks work it deep ;)
I miss the lights they used to have on the Canadian Club. Lit up that water and made changing baits easy.

I too am bummed the CC light up sign is gone. That was always a highlight of of a moon light cruise down the river. ..andy
