and the saga continues. Started a thread last year with pic's of the kid and his fish. Yes, he beat the pants off me last year. He's started early this year. :( Snuck in and took my rods to the Port Huron area. Tagged four eye's last night casting. Saw a total of 20 picked up. Guess I need to do something about it this year. Not sure if he got pic's but if so will post them.

Good for him! :) I'll sure be glad when my kid starts buying his own rods. Jr's broken 5 of mine in the last year. :banghead3

John, it just doesn't work that way. :( 21 yrs old and he still has to borrow my equiptment! Good paying job - good vehicle - good boss . It's just easier to borrow dad's stuff because it's ready to go! Gonna have to hide everything! :D

Its only when he starts "borrowing" your beer and such is when you need to take real action! :irked: :tsk:

Burksee...........that's not an issue. :) Haven't had a drink in over 15 yrs.

John, was just thinking one of these days your gonna wake-up grab a coffee, walk out back and that rig of yours will be gone. :yikes: Yes, in your case junior will have borrowed the boat. Better keep on eye on the gas gauge.

Then there's some of us that wish they had that problem, 3 boys and no full time fishing buddy. Wish I'd have done that differently, just stayed out too long for them to get into it. Told em to find a hobby and go for it, none picked mine.

Pwood......yeah the boys share. Mostly my gear between themselves. :yikes:

And now you know why I fish alone most of the time. It's the only way I can use my gear! :banghead3

Musta been a slow night. His buddies only picked up 2 last night. Mentioned the boys at Pine Grove seemed to be doing fairly well last night.
