Decker Docks

The DEcker's landing docks are not in and they should be. This is handled by the people at Algonac State Park. I called and they said another 10 days. TOO LONG!! The phone # is 810-765-5605 let's call and see if they will speed it up.

Hmmmm……..I thought all the docks at Decker’s Landing on Anchor Bay Drive were all permanent docks. Are we talking about the same place? There is also a DNR launch at the end of Anchor Bay Drive but I haven’t been over there to see if the docks are in.

Yes I am refering to the dock at the end of Anchor Bay Dr. It's the small DNR ramp. It's only one dock. People are putting in but have to crawl in off the side or front of their boats. And thanks for the welcome.

You might try giving Decker's Landing a call. They used to charge a fee and allow you to use their ramp. It's been many years since I launched there so I don't know for sure that they still do this.

If all else fails, it's only a hop skip and jump to the N Channel from the Fairhaven launch. Algonac is a bit closer than that.:)

FYI, the docks are now in at the DNR sites at Algonac and the launch at the end of Anchor Bay Dr. which I call Decker's landing.
