whats usually hatching for the opener?
Any suggestions

Little black caddis, a few stoneflies, Blue wing Olives, and If your lucky Hendriksons.
These are the ones that I usually encounter early in the season. The stoneflies are already hatching and the fish are starting to feed on the surface a little.
