detroit river heats up

heard from the river rats today. they got their limits in an hour today. some by cobo and some on the canadian side jigging green jigs with plastic.big males up to 28 inches dropping milt.the run was on. 8-10 am was hot ,then it died for 3 hours, then the slaughter was on after 1.if you want wally gators now is it.

i didnt go myself. could not find any customers and didn't want to drag the family.everyone was busy with the honeydoo list.i did go to the huron river with my son sun. night. saw lots of trouties with lockjaw.i'm definately going this weekend.
