Looking for advice.

I have been out the past two weekends trying to get into some walleye. Only have one small fish to show for it. We have been in the river from the stacks to just south of the bridge to Canada. Was hoping for some advise on what to try. The fish finder is showing fish (I assume walleye) but can't get them to bite. Any help would be great. We are jigging and have tried different colors with or with rubber and with or with out minnows. :help:

Are you new to jigging in the river? I am by no means a jigger and about the only thing I can suggest is what I have heard from friends that jig in the river and that is boat control, boat control,boat control. Your line must be completely verticle. So your often chasing your line to keep it straight. I hope this helps and maybe some others will chime in to help you out.
