Took my nephew, his 4 year old son and my 7 year old son out Perch fishing Sun. morning on LSC. The fish were going good early in the morning and then it died. We made a couple moves which paid off. We found an active school that gave us steady action for the rest of the morning. We ran out of bait at around 1 PM (bought 10 dozen minnows). Ended up with 182 fish from 8 to 11½ in. and had a lot of throw backs. The kids had a ball! Fished approx. 4 miles SE of Huron Point in 15 fow. Man I love this time of year!

Outstanding trip ! Such a blast to get into them in such a way. Now the big question, who cleaned them all and how long did that take ? I know, who cares ?, its' worth it.

Hey Whale, Actually the kids wanted to go to the local fair when we got back in. I called a retired friend that cleaned all the fish for 6 lbs. of fillets in return. That really helped out. I probably average a fish a minute, so I was looking at about 3 hours of cleaning fish and then cleaning up the mess. It's great to have good friends when you need a little help. I hope to get back out this coming Friday and Sunday. Good Luck!

BigDaddy, It should not be a problem as long as the wind is not blowing too hard. I definitely saw smaller boats in the area but they were getting beat up a little on Sunday as there were 2 footers with an occasional 3 and 4 rolling in. I hope with all these high winds we are having now, it does not scatter the fish. They have been in this area for about 3 weeks. Again, if you watch the weather you should be able to get out there in a 14 footer. Shoot me an e-mail if you need more info.
