Got the boat on the water in Ludington on Friday afternoon and all went well except I forgot my bimini top and net.:bash:

Fished north of Sable point and went 0-1. Lost it at the boat because we had no net. Fish came on a jerry lee stinger spoon off the rigger set just under the surface.

Called my buddy that was coming up Saturday morning and he brought my top and net with him so we were set to go sat morning. Went north of the point again and went 3-5 in 13hrs of straight fishing. One 5lb laker (released) and 2 browns in the 2lbs range. Laker came on a gold and orange stinger spoon and and one brown on a firetiger rapala and the other on a perch rapala, all off the boards.

Water temp was about 40 at the point but just south of Gurny creek there was about a half mile stretch of 50 degree water.
It was very slow out there for us but it was nice to get on the water again.
