LSC Perch action 9/16 & 17

[Gone Fishing]

Perch action on the Canadian side has been spotty at best for me. However we did find some good schools on the American side. My son and I got a limit on Sunday and we were back in by noon. Took the day off Monday with a couple buddies and started off real good early in the morning. Then it died. Rather than making small moves in the area and trying to find active fish, we blew it and ran to Canada. We worked our way from the shipping channel all the way to Mitchell's Bay with very limited success. On the way back home we stopped back in our original spot and picked up an additional 20 or 30 fish. All in all we ended up with a few fish shy of our limit. It is only going to get better as the water cools! In case anyone is wondering, we were approx. 4 mi. out off Huron Point. Good Luck! :)

Walleye Mike, Did you do good there? There was quite a pack of boats in there and it appeared that everyone was catching fish. I think that I had quite a good honey hole becauce we could not fish 2 rods early in the day!

There was only two other boats at the time. Straight out of the 400 club about 3-4 miles. We only had crawlers but they seemed to work.
