Perch Fishing Monroe Area Sucks Right Now

:( :( :( WATER DIRTY,FISH NOT BITING. BEEN ALMOST EVERYWHERE THE PAST TWO DAYS FROM LUNA PEIR TO STONEY POINTTO THE SPUTNIK AND THE FISHIN SUCKS RIGHT NOW. THE WATER IS REALLY CLOUDY SOUTH OF THE RIVER RAISIN, AND THERE JUST ISNT ANY GOOD SCHOOLS OF PERCH NORTH OF IT. MARKED ALOT OF FISH IN 14-16 FT BUT WATER IS TOO DIRTY TO GET THEM TO BITE. GOING TO WAIT TILL WED TO GO BACK OUT.

We had great luck last Saturday out near Sputnik. Water was much cleaner and our boat managed to keep 94 fish in the 7 to 12" slot range with most being 10"ers. It was rough going getting out there in my 18 footer as the swells were big!!! But later on in the morning it calmed down, the sun came out and it turned out to be a great day!!! I'm hoping the water will be cleaner this weekend, I'd like to stay a bit closer to shore. Bootlip must have been in the wrong spot at the wrong time or he don't want anyone to know that the perch bite is still strong. Don't put those boats away just yet...
