Well,

Went out with 1fife this morning. Fished anywhere from 15-18 FOW from the Coast Guard station south to the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club.

May I say it was terrible? 3 or 4 bass were the hottest of the action. 2 perch were keepers, but other than that the results were not good. Mainly perch fished, anchored with the ol' spreaders out, with limited success. Best results came while slow-trolling around 1 mph, where a coupole of smallies were taken.

Wind was Northeast (UGGGHH), and floating weeds made it a "not-too-fishable" type of day.

Nonetheless, a good time was had, and I would like to thank you for the trip Jeff, and look forward to doing it again in the future.

Oh by the way Don, I'm sure you can see you didn't miss anything! :D

Yes I did, any day fishing is a good one! I would not give up time with my daughters though when this is the 1st time I was able to get them since the weekend of August 18th...Thanks to their Mother:mad:

As fischman stated fishing was less than desirable, but thats why its fishing(cold fronts dont help). We didnt see any boats nailing the fish, which does makes you feel better(its not like your doing something wrong). But the company was good- fischman thanks for going. Hopefully next time it will be better.

They would have probally turned out better....LOL!:p
