where should i start tomorrow 3-16-05

if i only had a 3 sided coin, i would like to try metro, fairhaven, or cotton but i want to stay put wherever we go. i have lost some confidence at metro lately! what do you guys think. :dizzy: :dizzy: :dizzy:

right now the fish are in, in front of buds. I went out yesterday and everyone i saw using minnows had atleast 20 or so in the bucket, the ones using anything else had a few, or none.

Cotton Rd. no gas pockets that I know of. I'd go to the left about a 100 yards and out about 300 yards.

I did not have minnows either and only got 3 yesterday afternoon at cotton area using spoons w/hard beads.

i was at coton at 6 am i caught 6 dinks thats i moved around evrywhere jus no action 2 day

well we started at cotton today, bad start right off the bat. i forgot the dumb ice drilling device, aka auger. my wife says oh well lets go out to breakfast, no,no, we can go out and fish the other guys holes dear, it will all work out :lol: she got 3 7-8" that i put back, & i got a bunch of big fat 3-4" that i thought about using for bait.we were in 6.5fow a little left but not to the crowd.some very nice guy drilled us 3 holes with his new auger, that was cool, and he wouldn't let me give him any money :yikes: noon we moved to fairhaven. everyone said dinks all day on the way out. we gave it a shot and they were right. moved to metro 8 fow. straight out from the ramp. right off the bat i get the biggest perch of the year for me.14" & fat like a pig.then the marcum goes blank for 45 mins. my wife ended up gettin 4 or 5 more dinks but that was it. stayed till 6:30 but never turned on. oh well, we had fun & it was a nice day out today.

i forgotto tell everyone to watch that ice at metro-genos. i had a guy follow us out to drill us some holes. poped like 4 for himself & 4 for my shanty that i marked. got set up & noticed mine were13" but hers were 3.5"{closest to mine} & 2.5"at the far hole. took the tape to the other guys his were all 6-7" about 30 feet away from us. current was pretty strong wed. so you guys on the quads need to beeeee carefull farther out. on the way back i talked to a couple people and checked a dozen or so holes they were all about the same 13" average.but we were a little over half way to the open water.
