Cotten road.....Be aware...Gas pocket!!!!!

4/10 of a mile E off of the end of cotten road....(about 10 o clock if you were standing at the end of the road)


Hadn't seen that in the last 5 days that I have been out there.....About an 8'x8' area.....It's going to eat something!!!

Wow I havent seen this when I have been out there. Ill have to keep an eye out for it.

Thanks for the info,Cotton Rd.is known for gas pockets around last ice.Just like anywhere at this time of year use caution when venturing out onto the ice.Remember no fish(especially the ones we have been catching this year)is worth dying for or taking a polar dip.Play it safe out there and use your spud if ya got one

A buddy and I set up in that area years ago. we drilled holes in 10 inch ice and set up the shanty. it got windy and we spent 1/2 a day pulling in fish. Wwe opened our shanty and found we were only 3 foot away from a 8x8 open hole with little white caps on it :yikes: . I use my spud any time of the winter in that area.
