To me this is what Ice fishing is all about. I CAN NOT wait until open water but, I'll bring this photo up next fall and feel that strong want for ice :D

Yeah, from my experience, ice fishing is all about great scenery :p and few fish ;) but then again, I'm reponding to the master. Beautiful picture my friend. For what it's worth, Jr popped another 9 decent fish in the basin tonight just before dark. The kids butt will have a nice ring on it soon from the bucket. I say, bring on the soft water! :p

All I can say is If I could only have one type of fishing....for me it would be no contest!!! I'll take Icefishing anytime over summer!! something about being out on that ice!! ;)

I agree with you HL, but I'm still not real thrilled with being up North and it's 6 below outside. That's the part I'll never get used to. Does make some pretty sturdy ice though.

Mike, Thats when you have the Mr.Heater, heater cooker just a blaring....a few walleyes on the ice....and maybe some sausage links and eggs on the cook

That is my swedish chin warmer!! comes in a shade of gray!.......well at least now it does!! :lol:

Stinger that is sunset looking towards mac and rays. You can barley make out the selfridge air base flag to the right.

Nice pics, the only other thing that compares, at least for me, is being on Platte Bay in the fall in search of cohos before sunup, when that sun comes up, its just awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Great photo, I will be thinking about that one in December. But right now I will take a Manistee sunset over Lake Michigan in August. Think Spring.

Great pic!! I'll take winter over summer anytime because theres no bugs!! And heaters are easier to put in your fishing crib than an air conditioner.....
