anyone need a partner?

Anyone headed out to erie or detroit river in the upcoming weeks need a partner? I don't have a boat but would love to fish the river or erie and add to my knowledge for walleyes. Gas, bait, and food is on me.

I don't live very far from you and as soon as i get the boat ready you are more than welcome to hit Erie or The Detroit river with me. I may be a little tied up on some days with Ed M he is going to show me how to Pull wire. That is if it's possible to teach an old dog new tricks. ;)

lawnboy, can you go during the week ? I don't like to even get close to the Detroit River on weekends in the spring . I have a baby due anyday, as soon as mom and baby are back home , I plan on hitting the river or Erie at least twice a week.

Good luck Larry. I dealt with the same thing 2 years ago. The lure to get out was so strong, I ended up pulling the boat off the trailer, stripped, sealed, and repainted it. Probably saved my marriage. ;) The little guys is a fishing fiend, now. Had him out on Belleville for his first boat ride 2 weeks ago. Gonna try again tonight if the weather cooperates.

Could someone be so kind as to let me tag along. I have all the jigging gear I need, I just don't have the boat any longer. I'll have a week day open untill the end of May. I'll be more than happy to pay for gas, bait, lunch. Just let me know. Also, if anyone is interested I'm trying to get an outing going for smelt in Port Huron along the wall the weekend of April 15 or April 22 on Saturday. Check it out at in the outings forum.

I can't help myself for asking, but I also, would like to goe walleyeing on the det river sometime, reading all your stories, makes one excited to goe fishing. Thanks, to my grandpa for always finding the time to taking me fishing , with him,when I was little.
