http://www.michigan-sportsman.com/photopost/data/500/5839MEAT_GRINDER_001-med.jpg I`ve tried to post this in the classified section but could not get it to work. :confused: Hobart meat grinder for sale $500.00 or offer. Nameplate says it draws 20.6 amps at 200 volts three phase.

The reason you probably couldn't use it is because you don't have three phase service at your house. This grinder was used for a commercial customer who had three phase service. The residential sector isn't allowed three phase service.

Really I could use it but I don`t want to spend the money on a phase convertor.

Sold one just like it last year on E-bay. It's a nice machine but the 3 phase limits home usage. If your going to use a phase converter you will need a rotary phase converter, one of those "fool it" electronic boxes won't hold up.
