ICEGUY, i was out there as well in that mess with mess speaking kindly of what that was. It stinks getting a bite going and all of a sudden there are bikes,trucks, and power augers going off like fireworks on the fourth of July. Nice job on the fish!! I will probably be out Tues am if mother nature is kind.

i was out there at 530 this mornig caught 5 nice ones i would get a big one and then that damn truck that was out would drive by i gonna give it a try early in the moring there out there jus too much comotion 2 day

I am going there Tuesday and was wondering how far you could see in the water.If you can see good enough I'll bring the shanty to see them.Thanks Steve

I was out there today also but I went strait out from the road and avoided all the others didnt do too bad quite a few dinks though

Fished Southern edge of the big group from 7AM til about 9AM. After that I made why way back to Cotton Rd punching holes as I went.I did better after leaving the group and walking back. no one spot gave up more then 2 fish. Ended up with a dozen 8-9 inchers. I did the best on a tube jig tipped with spikes. Minnows didn't produce one keeper.

Wound up with enough for dinner....for my daughter (2 fish). She caught both of them, so chow down kid.

Dinks werent even that kind to me today, very slow.


Can't believe all the people up by the salt....could tell it was the weekend!!! Friday morning there was about 10 of us out there....And the bite was way better.


Back at them tommorow morning....

Caught two dozen Keepers(?) today at Cotton Road. All they wanted in the morning were wigglers. Almost all I caught today were males. A couple of small females but nothing to brag about. The ice taxi guy said he took a lot of people back in with the big skunk.

Oh yeah, I dunked one of my radios into the lake today. Nothing but net!

I pulled 30 on sat. Fished with Big Mike and ICEGUY. Went to the sea plane ramp today fished with tubejig sorry I pulled you back out for the gill that did'nt start until 3:00. Patti and I got are limit, Dean got his also. I had a feeling that cottton rd. would be a zoo today. I'll check that out around tue. I'm off all week and ready to whack'em.
