cuz i took the shanty outa my truck and retired it to the basement, w/ the buckets and spud and auger and all the gear for the season... so now ull catch plenty of fish, dont worry. and they will be of size. im ready for september early goose... i never thought id say this, but summer kinda sux. no hunting... i love fishing, but my two favorite sports or shooting at water fowl, and freezin mynizzles off on hard water. hopefuly ill get the hang of crappie this summer after 21 years to make the summer better than just parties and concerts. good luck all. ill be lurkin to see if i can pull the gear back out one last time. :)

YEah, actually, more like 3-4 weeks with the way it's going depending on where you fish...best ice fishing of the season is late ice.

I know the lakes I've been fishing in Irish Hills have like 12-15" of ice, I'm hoping to be fishing for at least another 3 weeks.

I think he's not throwing in the towel at all.Neil is done for the year because his freezer is full of fish.Stacked to the rafters with frozen slabs.(this year that means anything bigger than 5" inches)Come on Neil you have been bluffing all winter.Bet ya you play a great game of Poker! :16suspect

actualy i do, lately... but the shanty is in the garage its ready to go, just been workin so much tryin to catch up to 3 mons unemployed... i took it outa the truck cuz sleep is more important than 4 fish... and to me thats a sad day in my world cuz i seldomly give up out doors for any thing. if the reports are good ill be back at it, dont worry.
