I’m at metro milling around, look down in the trash can out at the day sail, and what do I find at least two-dozen perch. All of them were well over 8” one was so big that at first I thought it was a small bass. It turned out to be 13 inches just full of eggs. What a waste…

Just wondering did they look like they have been out of water for a while? Discolored at all?

If they were caught after Monday PM, they should be frozen and fine...Not exactly fresh fish but "do able"... ;)

yeah I don't know if I would be eating something like that. But I'm sure you used yur better judgement:confused: . I don't know why anybody would do anything like that, throwing the fish out. What's the point of going out in the first place.

That just does not make any sense. Why would you bother to spend money on bait, freeze you butt off and bother bringing fish back in with you just to throw them in the garbage can?I am sure there was plenty of other fishermen near by that they could of gave them to.If you are not going to give them away or eat them yourself throw them back in the hole.Only a D%&$ cranium would do something like that. They could of atleast took them home and buried them in the flower garden:bash:

Could it be the DNR taking the fish for lack of a licence then trashing them? Maybe a fisherman w/no licence trashed their fish when they saw one of the DNR agents on shore taking fish info. What a waste.

No Skid I didn’t clean them I didn’t know how long they had been in the can and something had been picking at them. If anyone wants them, I think I can still go scrounge them up. No just kidding…and as for the 13 inch perch that wasn’t with the tail pulled to a point.

Ya know, the other day I read in the paper that in Neberaska a special interest group tried to introduce legslatition that would outlaw catching their state fish. ( I think it is striper bass,) What do you think that these people would think if they heard of "Fishermen" in MI throwing their fish away on their off the lake?Shure makes you wonder why some people call themselves fishermen? I'm embaressed to even think why someone would do that.
