Little boats are best in shallows
FT. MYERS, Fla -- Dave Loger has no problem explaining why he prefers guiding fishermen around the Tampa Bay area from kayaks rather than in powerboats.
"It's a lot less hassle," he said. "You can reach some great inshore fishing a lot of times in places that bigger boats can't get to. And you don't need a launching ramp to get into the water. All you have to do is find a break in the mangroves on the shoreline.
