A client brought in this pig taken on a ranch by his 12 year old daughter with a Bow. The phone message said he had a 7 to 8 hundred pound pig to be processed and I just kinda chuckled, it sounded like the proverbial fish story. I knew I had my hands full when he pulled in a squatting 1/2 ton pick-up with 4 monster size hooves stickin' above the box sides.
My scale only registers to 300 lb and it was no match for Zilla Pig. The winch system for the skinning rack will lift 600 Lb and the cable brake will not hold the weight of the hog.
To put some perspective to the picture I am just under 6' tall and the ceiling is 8'. The hooves are the size of an average cow and the ears about the size of a paper plate. I'm guessing the hams to be about 50 lbs each. I may have to chain them to the roof of the smoker. :yikes:
