For you guys that missed it click on lake Eire and check out LSC. Not many places left so be carefull. http://coastwatch.glerl.noaa.gov/modis/region_html hope it works

Here is the most recent (3-7-05) sat. image of Lake Erie and LSC. As you can tell there is to much cloud cover to determine anything.

If you go to the main icefishingmich. forum and find "check it out" by chuck1 you'll get a great pic of all the lakes.

Keep in mind that the image in the post "check this out" is from at the latest March 2nd. We have had some very warm temps in the 50's 2 days in a row creating alot of run off mixed with very high winds.
Later today when they update the photo I think we will find that even more of the ice has broke up. So anyone that is going out on the ice really needs to pay attention to the winds not only before you venture onto the ice but while your out there as well. Please be safe out there

Now when you load up the main page click on the MODIS imagery. Now bookmark it
boy i would like to see that on a really clear day! looks like the east side of LSC is all froze up still, and fairhaven is still iced in pretty good.
checked the image again today, lot better pic. the other side of LSC is all froze up. looks like fairhaven is pretty safe for awhile too.
