View Full Version : Same dove story....different Paper!

I did a search of my local newspaper...the Kalamazoo Gazzette, seems the same gentlmen that sent a letter to the flint journal, sent a copy to them as well. Tonight, in the Hometown section....they posted the article "Volunteers wage war to protect mourning doves" I tried pulling up the article but no avail. The only thing I can commend them on is that they tried to show both sides of the story....They still show support for the cause(stop dove hunting) through their writing....I guess Dove hunting is not part of the "mainstream" group(hunters) The traditional hunters are against the Dove season???!!! Doubt it! I loved the last part of the article....one of the organzizers was complaining about having to get signatures outside in the cold......She says"were begging for any indoor place to gather signatures" NOT IF I CAN HELP IT! I encourage the letter writing to this newspaper as well! see link below

I have sent my letter....same as the one to the flint journal but Tweaked! In the Dog forum, they are saying that PSP in NOVI has allowed them to gather signatures inside the store.....Please check out that forum for more infor! Will try and post the other article as well, if it comes up online!

Letter sent to them.. I noticed that the guy is still using false facts even though there was a correction in the Flint paper on his facts. :dizzy:

Also, make sure you look at GM being supporters of the Michigan Humane Society as well. . .they are a small car manufacturing company located somewhere in Michigan. :lol:
