Scum Froggin with a Fly Rod 9-12-01

Jackster, JPollman, Byron and myself went scum froggin again today...Man did I need that relaxing break after the happenings of yesterday. I managed to land a small Bass.
Here is Jackster with a very nice Bass he caught on his Flyrod, and he wasn't using a Scum Frog either! Good Job Jackster and to all of you thanks for a great relaxing few hours!
My camera has no flash and it was pretty dark, that is why I thought it was broke the last few times. Here is the pic even though the darkness made it kinda crappy:

Thanks for putting this float together Don. Nice seeing Byron and JP again too and I'm glad I didn't nail you guys on a back-cast:eek: . That 'silent-sub' technology on your boats was cool. You guys were all over that lake.

Don, After everything that has gone on the last couple days, it is nice to read a fishing post. Glad you guys got to take a break, clear your minds for a couple hours and get out fishing. I hope to get out on LSC Friday and do some perching. They are calling for winds of 10 to 20 knots out of the NE. If I go I will probably get my butt kicked by the waves but I sure need a break too! Nice bass Jackster !

I know what Don meant about needing a break. I felt a little strange doing it but I really needed to get out on the water and get my mind off the events of the past few days. Well, I had a good time but really couldn't get my mind off of it. I can't stop thinking about the families and friends of all of the victims.
This tragedy is going to touch people from coast to coast.
It's hitting close to home here. The son of the president & CEO of my wifes company worked in the WTC fairly close to where the plane hit.
The family knows he was at work that day because they received an email from his office that morning before the incident. They haven't heard from him since. Well, sorry to drag the incident back into this post but EVERYTHING just keeps coming back to the horror of the other morning.

Take care all and HUG YOUR KIDS !!! I can't stop hugging mine and feeling EXTREMELY lucky.

Hey Don I don't think that was the light that was bad... Jackster has done that to acouple of my cameras over the years. Hey Jackster did you have a nice slice of Tomato with that Bass!:D
