I have a 1999 18' Targa 125hp Merc. Serves me well. Not a Lund but I didn't pay a Lund price either.

Congrats on the new boat. My brother purchased the 17ft Pro-Crappie (modified "V" hull) a couple years ago. The only major thing that went wrong was the hull got a crack in it just under the water line at the bow. Not sure why this happened, he's not rough on equipment at all and he's definitely never in rough water. He mainly fishes inland lakes and the Saginaw Bay on calm days.
He purchased the boat at Bass Pro Shops in Auburn Hills and he's had lots of problems getting the work done on it. The hull warranty covers the crack, but getting the job done is another story. After listening to his story, I would avoid having any service work done at BPS. Funny thing, he never had any problems when he was buying the boat from them....lol.

Last spring I purchased a Tracker Pro Guide V16 w/50hp merc. 2 stroke and a swing tongue trailer.
I had an additional graph installed in the front. It has given me no problems what-so-ever. Just add gas and top off oil tank and go fishin.
If money was no object I would have opted for the 60 hp 4 stroke but at the time I was not ready to spring for the extra $1600 to upgrade.
Boat handles well and runs up to 35 mph if you fuss with the trim. The ONLY complaint I have is with the seat pedestels. They are a BEAR to move. I just have not figured them out yet.......one time they will just pop out, the next time a crane couldn't lift one out of the bracket.....
Bought it at Kzoo store.....no problems there at all. Had it back for service once and it was handled promptly.
AND ITS KILLING ME NOT TO HAVE IT OUT YET, I love hard water fishing but I am more than ready for spring...
I use and am hard on equipment and this boat/trailer combo has handled everything I tossed at it. Would buy another in a minute......my .02.

I've owned 2 trackers. One from 88 to 95. The other from 95 to present. I am a big fan of these boats and would buy another in a heartbeat. I've riden on Lunds and can honestlly say that I wouldn't pay the premium for them based on my 16 years of good experience with Tracker.
