Finding Smelt

Me and my friends are going fishing tommorow for pike. We have been doing pretty good lately but a lot of them have been smaller. I was talking to someone and they said that a lot of times the bigger pike are lethargic and dont like to chase baits in the winter. He told me to try dead smelt. The only problem is I don't know where to get any. Any help finding some would be appreciated.

I bought some last year from a guy here, they were ordered frozen smelt, I was hoping he'd be around i need some also.

i bought some last month at local meijers. its worth a look see. they didn't have heads but they worked.good luck.
