Alhpa drive question

Why is it ever year my lower unit on my alpha drive rises over the winter? Last year I had it all the way in the down position and by the end or winter it was half way up. I again see that it’s rising as winter is ending. Anyone have any ideas????

Its probably the hydrolics slowly pushing it up all winter. They're like a compressed spring.....one that only has enough force(while not under power) to push the drive up slowly, even if the battery isn't connected. I've seen it happen on Bravos too.
