The bay has slowed a bit today with catches down. We had a weather front roll in today and that hurt the fishing in the morning a bit. I just got off the ice and the afternoon bite was decent but not spectacular. I heard of people fishing up near Roches Point and catching good size fish in 40' of water. The weather looks to be stable for the next few days and I belive the fish will come back in to the shallows and stack up by Sat. afternoon and stay at least until Tues. when the weather is going to change again.
Ice bugs, spikes, waxies and minnows are the baits of choice right now. With the light bite I think wigglers would work great, but we can't get them here so stock up if you are coming.
