I was thinking about starting a fishing log and am wondering what information do you guys put in your logs and if it seems to help at all? I figured I would keep track of weather, time of day, water depth, and tackle/technique. Anyone got any input/ideas to add?

DO an Internet search for Fishing Logs. Lots of good programs out there that have everything set up for you already. makes it easy to set up on the Computer, and to review a particular lake, or other feature. Many are very customizable, and a few may even be free...
try these for a start....
