I am interested in having/finding someone that can paint a Marsh Grass pattern on my fiberglass boat. Anyone know of someone or have any suggestions?

I would just use spray cans. Its easy and inexpensive.

AC,
Thought of that. May end up the way I go. However, I was down in Louisianna a few months back and a guy had his boat painted with a Marsh Grass pattern. Tell you what, it was such a nice paint job that it looked like it was laid up in the Gelcoat. He had a local guy in Jena, LA do it.
I thought of getting some marsh grass, leaves, etc. pasting them on the hull then spraying over them using them like a stencil. Then touching up with some spray cans. Definitely cheaper.

why not call the detroit center for creative studies. they have a fine arts school and i'd bet some aspiring artist would do a great job tagging your boat for free.i've seen some of their work and its top notch.hows that for creativity. they may even foot the bill for paint!

Fishin,
Cabela's has some nice looking stencil kits in the hunting catalog or possibly on line. Herters and Macs Prarrie Wings have them also. There are 2 different styles and one of them is a marsh grass pattern.
The trick to getting a good looking job is how the shadow effects are made with the paints. Using good paint also helps.
Good luck!
