detroit river conditions

anybody know the conditions of the river dowriver of trenton?? just curious cuz i'll be home over break and was looking to take the boat out for a warm up before the season really gets underway. just wondering if there's any big ice flows going downriver right now and if it's worth it. also curious if anythings biting in the river, and was also wondering the conditons in airport bay south of grosse ile and at the cross dyke. is there any ice left?. was out there last year and caught some nice jumbos. if anything and theres safe ice i may go pop a squat out there long as it's safe.

There is still good ice at APT bay and the dike. The river it all depends. It was windy yesterday so there may be ice coming down today. Go hit the warm water out of the edison plant there is always somethig biting in there.
