View Full Version : Has Anyone EVER Lost a PSE INFINITY??

Hi,

Approximately 6 years ago (~1999), I found a PSE INFINITY bow, bowcase, release, tools, etc. along US-10 right before it goes to 55 mph. If this was your bow, you can have it back - provided you can answer some additional questions about the description of what you lost. FYI, the day this person lost the bow (my guess), was a Saturday or Sunday morning - the day before that year's bow season began.

Anyway...

Put the word out - this site seems pretty massive. There must be someone out there who knows so-and-so's friend that lost his bow on the way up to camp...I'll start checking this thread fairly often.

You should have turned it over to the local Sherriff when you found it..........6 years ago.

That's the first place I'd have looked if it was mine.

Several member have lost bows over near that area.
It's been a long time tho and I don't remember the names or details.
Now if you happen to find a 12 ga nitro special..........I lost one on the east side.

 About 12 years ago my father and I where hunting up in the Huron National Forest ( deer ) the day before we ended a week trip we grabbed our guns and walked and walked and walked seen deer and jumped deer it was a great time just hanging with pops and talking and remembering past hunts.... after all that walking we laid down on the ground for a quick mid afternoon nap we awoke to darkness,,,,,,,, but the thing is before we laid down my father rest his gun against a tree some 15 yds from where we napped,,,,,, so now its dark now,,, we could not find his Remington 30-30 and had to leave the next day we looked for hours................ Last year my son and i where walking in the same area scouting for the up coming bow season..............we sat to rest and think about our options.....my son got up and walked over about 5 yds to our right and called to me, You guessed it for 11 years that gun sat against that tree and the tree grew around the barrel it was going to be locked there for ever weathered and a chewed up stock and 5 live rounds still inside its rusted case,,,,,,,My father is no longer around,,,,,,, and my heart filled when my son found his grandfathers deer slayer,,,,,,crazy how things happen

You're right that I should have turned it in to the local sheriff....I talked it over with guys from work, and that person could have been going anywhere - the liklihood that they were actually hunting in Clare county was questionable.

The point is...I still have the bow - and if it finds it's rightful home - all the better.

I would also add that other than shooting it ~10 times, it hasn't seen any use.

That's what I enjoy the most, stories about past hunts and hunting with with special people. Again, very cool story, Brian.

My buddy who I bowhunt with was driving down Sage Lake road near M-33 and found a bow laying in the weeds (odd thing is it was also a PSE Infinity). So the next day he put up a poster board signat that spot saying "lose anything? call me XXX-XXX-XXXX"

Next day he gets a call and the guy describes it perfectly so he directs him to meet him for breakfast at the local cafe. He returns it and the guy offers to buy him breakfast, for which he declines saying don't worry about it. Then the guy offers again to buy breakfast and he says "honestly I have just had one of the best years of my life and I wouldn't feel right about you buying me breakfast." so he declined the free meal.

As a gesture the guy gives him a permanent pass to hunt his 80 acre farm in Ogemaw County--which might be the nicest piece of deer property in the county.

How is that for karma?
