Hey Mark, Welcome to the M-S.com site. I'm in White Lake Twp, Ormond Rd and Jackson Blvd area. Which lakes do you get out to icefish on? And also like PM I'm a little bit older than your generation................

Do you know where Lakewood village is? It's halfway between 59 and Lakeland on Bogie Lake Road. I pretty much fish my lake, Brendle, but I've fished a few others.

I remember the fishing being pretty good on Brendle and Neva but its been "years" since I've fished either of them.

Well Neva has gone down, because all of the gills are stunted, but I caught a 7lb bass through the ice there. The fishing in the summer on Neva is phenominal. Brendle is OK for ice fishing, but don't waste your time in the summer.

hey mark, welcome! my uncle has a BIG place on brendle (the campsite). i haven't done too much fishing on it, only here and there but would like to try it next winter, as i've seen some good pulls out of it. one of the very few private lakes i have access to. I would imagine you are in the neighborhood opposite side of the lake?

Yes I'm in the other neighborhood. The alke has been better as far as ice fishing goes, but it's a good way to get away from snowmobiles and a bunch of fisherman.
