Am heading to Houghton Lake next weekend (March 13 &14) and was wondering if anybody had experience with renting a cabin on the lake. Doesn't need to be anything special, just clean. Would also consider hotel/motel but would prefer a cabin. Thanks for any info!!

Here’s a couple of places you can check on ……..

Zager’s Sportsman Resort. (Zone 22) Bait, Tackle and Lodging!
http://www.sportsmanresort.net/

Lyman’s on the Lake (Zone7) Again; Bait, Tackle and Lodging
http://www.houghtonlakefishing.com/teamlyman/

Both Zager’s and Lyman’s are right on the lake and are the access points for some very popular fishing spots on Houghton Lake!

Or you can look thru here and let your fingers do the walking!

Good Luck! Hope you have a great time! :D

A group of us have gone to houghton for the last 5 years...Shea's Lakefront lodge is where we usually stay....nothing special clean cabins, and they also have a lodge with just singe rooms for rent.....If you cant find a listing under Shea's try Hideway resort or something I thought that the name may have changed when I was there last weekend
