Lakeside Fishing Shop on South River Rd in Harrison Township had them last Saturday. They are a little pricey though. I bought my son a 5 inch and it was $64.99. Definitely not on sale there. They also have a Lakeside on 10 and Jefferson in St. Clair Shores but I didn't stop there to see what they had. I'd call first before going there (586) 777-7003.

If I remember correctly I think I remember reading that the Eskimo Barracuda ice augers use the same blades as the LAZER but cost of ownership is much less.

If that is true I missed out on a great sale last year, Dick's Sporting Goods had the 6" Barracuda's late last year for $39.99!

Might be worth checking into! ;)

BTW - I've never used a LAZER, I still have my 6" Mora, was ready to throw it away, put a new set of stainless replacement blades on it last year and its still cutting better than it had when it was new! If a LAZER cuts better than mine does now, all I can say is WOW! :SHOCKED:

I was at Cabelas today and in the Bargin cave they had some Lazers, I bought a 6 inch for 47.99 and they had about 3 or 4 left and one 7 inch Lazer for 48.99. I was surprised they still had some.
