View Full Version : Nothing special but it made me happy

I had the chance to visit an old dear friend this past weekend. Don't get the chance to see her very often anymore. She looked good, and I'm pretty certain she was happy to see me too. The fishing wasn't exactly great in terms of catching fish, but for some reason I didn't really mind all that. It was good enough for the likes of me.
I know it may not look like much, but believe me when I tell you, "I live for moments like this".

Nice fish Erik, good enough for the likes of me too. Visting old friends catching steelhead sounds like a great weekend to me.

Thanks for the pic and report Erik. I'd love to be sitting there with a Mac D's in my belly in the early morning there trying to decide if I should hit the pier or run up to the dam. Love that place. Cheers, good memories while I sit at my desk here. :)

I think every one is special. Anytime you catch one means a successful day on the water. Maybe your just getting too good at this. :)

There are certain pictures that bring back great memories that get put up in an 8 x 10 on the wall. I think you got a framer there!

My cabin fever nearly ruined my marriage last night :bash: . I need to get out there and unwind. "In like a lion out like a lamb" March 20 first day of spring.

Thanks guys.
What makes this fish really special to me, is I caught it in the very same spot where I caught my first steelhead ever. I don't get to go there very often anymore so when I do it feels pretty cool.
