I'm thinking about driving back over to Erickson Rd. tomorrow. It's been a week since I've been there and I'm a little concerned with how the travel is on the ice now and if we get the 8" of snow I hear we are supposed to get. Also curious if this East wind hurt the bite at all the last couple days. I also checked the weather for tomorrow and it said the wind will change and start coming from the North at 20-30mph, last time I was there with winds like that it turned a nice closed crack into a mountain of broken ice that wasn't very easy to get across. I'm really chomping at the bit to get over there at least one more time before I go back to work, so any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanx and Good Luck!

I would recommend staying home. Not only because of the weather on the way but your travels to and from the bay could be unsafe as well. Havent heard any great reports of fish caught anyway. Just a couple here and there.
20-30 mph winds!!!WOW!! :tdo12:

That much wind will create whiteouts, i hope people use there head and stay off the bay tomorrow.

The ice will hold up just fine, but like Jeremy said, it will be whiteout conditions, absolutely miserable. If you are planning on taking quads I would also wait until some of us with snowmobiles re-break the trails. I will try ,and be out tomorrow.

If the travel conditions on the Bay are even half the nightmare my driveway was today, I'd wait until at least this weekend.
