Made it out to Gun Lk. saturday with my nephew, managed to pull 17 gills from Robbins Bay
I've got to get a quad for icefishing next year cause its a long walk from the state park.

Good job on the gills, what size were they?

Gills were 7"-81/2" taken on sm. Maramouska(sp) orange,black and white useing red spikes.

Where about were you on robbins bay we were out there for a tipup tournament saturday from 7:30 to 2 fished in the northern end of the bay. Not much luck end up catching to hammer handles back to back that was it for my action for the day.. You didn't happen to see the young kid catch the 25+ inch walleye back there what a nice fish.. I have fished back there for gills before but caught mostly small specs.. Hoping to get the kid out there for one more trip to gun he really likes to fish out there.. Well good luck when you go again..

Fished there yesterday in front of England Pt. I spent my time in 18-32' of water, hoping a Walleye would come through. No such luck. I did get into 2 small Northerns and a Grass Pike.
