fishing Isle Royle

anyone ever done it? any good? what sould i pack?

I have made 6 trips to Isle Royle, all by way of backpacking. I know the trails, I have walked end to end... but if you are going by boat, that is my next trip.

I can give you some advise if on foot. let me know. by the way, this is one of my favorite places on earth, and I travel every week. The pike fishing and the walleye fishing is 2nd to none.

I was there once many many moons ago with the boy scouts.(24 years ago.) Back then the pike fishing was unreal. I hear that if you have a boat the Laker fishing around the Inland is one of the best.
